an update has been made to further balance the game, and add more goofy NPCs into the first town. There are also multiple bugfixes, so the game is playable. 

(IN THE THIRD TOWN THERE IS A HALF ARMORED NPC, THEY DO NOT DO ANYTHING. In the next update they will be able to upgrade your cavalry.)
